If successful, confirm database exist by $ SVRMGRL SVRMGRL> connect internal/admin as sysdba SVRMGRL> SELECT name,created,log_mode FROM v$database; SVRMGRL> SELECT status, instance FROM v$thread; SVRMGRL> SELECT name from v$datafile; SVRMGRL> SELECT member FROM v$logfile; SVRMGRL> SELECT name FROM v$controlfile; SVRMGRL> show SGA 9. Create the data dictionaries by running @$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catalog.sql Create the packages by running @$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catproc.sql $ SVRMGRL SVRMGRL> connect internal/admin as sysdba SVRMGRL> @$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catalog.sql SVRMGRL> @$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catproc.sql
