Assuming that you wish to configure a virtual IP and virtual name to take over an
existing standalone server.
1. make sure the computer object bearing that name have been deleted from
the active directory
2. make sure that the standalone server have been renamed or powered off
3. make sure that the IP address is no longer in use by that standalone server
